German-Malaysian Institute (GMI) is an advanced training centre for high technology applications established in 1992 as a joint venture project between the Governments of Malaysia and Germany. The objective of GMI is to qualify highly skilled and competent workforce in modern technology for the Malaysian Industry.
In line with our expansion plans, we are seeking highly qualified candidates to take up the following challenging positions:
Technical Training Officer
(Selangor - BANDAR BARU BANGI)
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): Relevant to control/electrical electronics/process/instrumentation/chemical,security/information security/ computer science, networking technology, mechatronics/mechanical/automotion.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in BANDAR BARU BANGI.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Education or equivalent.
- 6 Full-Time positions available.
- Experience on Process Control and Instrumentation / Mechatronics / Networking, able to conduct training in Theory and Practical, able to lead Industry and student project.
- Expose to the Plant Operation ( process) and maintaining the process plant, knowledge on Electro Mechanical System-Installation, testing and troubleshooting, PLC Programming using STL, FBD or S7 Graph, PC-based system programming using C++, 3D Machine Design and simulation is an advantage
- Expose in renewable and green technology, building automation and power distribution in system design, installation, testing and maintenance
- Good in Time Management, punctual, discipline and positive attitude
- Passionate in transfer or sharing skills and knowledge and experience with students
- Good communication in English (Oral and Written)
- Enjoy working in a team and yet are able to work independently
- Resourceful, creative, hands-on energetic and dynamics.
