Direct Field Level Sales Representative

Qualification

  • Engineering discipline is preferred
  • Preferably with prior work experience in similar field
  • Strong deployment and execution skills
  • Demonstrated high level of business and C&I acumen
  • P&L Track Record
  • Customer Focus; including demonstrated experience and understanding of the C&I Sector Strategies, Markets and customers
  • Demonstrated team working and demand management skills
  • Uses influence to achieve impact

Job responsibilities

1. Profitable Growth

Responsible and fully accountable for establishing and maintaining Commercial & Industrial (C&I) distributors pricing to ensure optimum returns to the company and develops action plans to achieve contribution margin and sales volume as per Management Operating System (MOS) and Net Operating Income (NOI) guidance.

  • Sales Process Execution
  • Executes all 5 phases of the sales process for C&I distributors
  • Executes customer facing activities of the distributor’s customers
  • Responsible for execution of account plan actions to achieve profitability targets and retain business
  • Responsible for account financial performance

Customer Relationship Development
  • Builds relationship with C&I distributors through active collaboration
  • Works with C&I distributors to identify needs and provides solution

2. Capital Stewardship

  • Fully responsible in achieving the Business Plan scorecard target:
  • Days Credit Sales Outstanding (DCSO) and Collection Efficiency Index (CEI)
  • Account Receivable and follow-up on debts
  • Direct OPEX management
  • Distributor replenishment coverage execution
  • Direct deliveries on major stocks

3. Distributor Management
  • Distributor sales staffs training on selling skills and product knowledge
  • Distributor accounts management and profitability monitoring
  • Sales target assignment and promotion execution
  • Investment management into new business for growth
  • Implementing world class sales system execution
  • Market development initiative
  • Distributor marketing process and guidelines
  • Provides Market intelligence and best practice
  • Distributors conflict management
  • Distributor customer tracking and performance management

4. Operational Excellence

  • Customer Tracking and Performance Management
  • Reviews and updates sales forecasts - input to Demand Mgmt. System
  • Maintains account profile and plans in MOS
  • Monitors account performance in MOS and updates actions plans to achieve targets
  • Distributor accounts planning and annual target setting
  • Demand and Inventory management monitoring
