BSC RNC Consultant - 1 year Contract
(Selangor - Subang Hi-Tech Industrial Park)
Responsibility:
Manages support for BSC/RNConProject Activities, Customer Complaints, Operation, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance. Staff required ensuring all the operational stability and healthiness of the vendor RAN nodes towards Excellence Customer Experience (ECE)
- Outage handling on BSC/RNC network and service recovery within MTTR of <2hours
- Ensure Health Check is performed on BSC/RNC Node according to plan
- Ensure smooth BSC/RNC network availability at all time
- Look into improvement in term of efficiency (time, cost, resource)
- Software & hardware upgrade, software patches and network optimization
- Acceptance Test on New BSC/RNC Node
- Perform WO on BSC/RNC Configuration Data
- Trouble shoots on HW fault for BSC/RNC Node
- Perform and track on Preventive Maintenance on BSC/RNC Node
- Handling on BSC/RNC SW Upgrade and correction
- Liaise with counterparts on design issue and improvement
- Conduct training on new technology to other colleague
- Efficient and consistent reporting on activities related to BSC/RNC
- Track, record and document on all info related to BSC/RNC
Staff needs to fulfill the following requirement:
- Attend working level meetings inter/intra section
- Support change management group if assistance required
- Receive new nodes/elements into the network
- Support Other (MSS/MGW/HLR/STP) network if needed
Requirements:
- Candidate has at least a tertiary level qualification in Engineering, Technology , IT, Computer science or Management field or hold a professional qualification from a recognised body, though extensive relevant experience may be considered in place of this
- Constantly have a customer mindset i.e. able to think and react in ways that will be beneficial or cause least disruption to our customers
- You have an appreciation for good service level and customer experience, whilst having the ability to anticipate and mitigate problems
- Possess more than 8 years experience in BSC RNC Consultancy work
- This is a 1 year contract vacancy
