Buyer-Cooking Needs
(Kuala Lumpur)

Responsibilities:
  • Create profitable customer driven ranges and promotions to deliver Sales and Margin targets
  • Manage group of products to support the delivery of company customer plan and promises
  • Selects the range of products to be sold in a given Department
  • Negotiates the trading terms on which products are bought
  • Implements key Tesco processes, i.e. Price / Service Level
  • Negotiates promotions in line with Promotion Policy & Timetable
  • Able to create differentiation on range and promotions
Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in any discipline, with Buying experience within a multi site retail consumer business
  • Build strong business relationship with SME suppliers. Experience in Food Service Industry is added advantage. Business minded and have a passion for retail
  • Good in planning, negotiation, organizing skills and posses strategic thinking
  • Possess strong numerical, negotiation and communication skills. Possess commercial awareness and customer-focused
  • Computer literate with good command of English and BahasaMalaysia. Self-motivated, a good team player, disciplined, committed and able to work under pressure
