O & M Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:
The Organization & Methods Dept will act as a consultant to management with the objective of finding ways to improve the Group’s efficiency and control. Its primary responsibilities shall include the following:
- Evaluates and improves existing operations systems and procedures.
- Systematically assess and rationalizes work flow and processes.
- Eliminate wastages or redundancies and improve efficiency.
- Plugs leakages and improve internal controls
Depending on the nature of each assignment, the tasks shall generally involve the following:
- Observing and recording the methods adopted by management in performance of tasks.
- Interviewing senior employees and observing work processes.
- Performance measurement in respect of costs, quantity, timing, etc.
- Analyses of data captured.
- Recommending solutions for improvement.
Requirements:
Reporting to the Head of Dept, the O & M Assistant Manager should have the following skill sets:
- Degree in Business/Finance with at least 6 years relevant working experience. Experience in working with a professional services firm.
- Good knowledge of modern management principles and concepts.
- Good knowledge of current trends and developments in management analysis.
- Ability to develop analytical methods and system of presentation.
- Ability to analyze facts and sound proposals.
- Ability to maintain effective work relations with all levels of management.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
